Repeat stain
A stain that returns is the building telling you the path is still open.
Paint, a new hose, or a new caulk line can hide a leak for a month. The same ring coming back is a pattern. Treat it as unfinished, not bad luck.
Put the old photos next to the new ones.
Same ring, same room, new date. That is the packet.
Ask what was actually repaired last time.
A new shower head does not fix a valve in the wall.
Do not paint it a third time as a test.
You already have the test result.
Questions people ask
Could it be a new leak in the same place?
Sometimes. Either way, the path is known enough to investigate properly.
Should we open the stain now?
Not as a first move. Investigation should still aim at the least opening that names the source.
